Superconducting magnetic separation method is different from traditional chemical, biological and ordinary electromagnetic separation method. It not only has the advantages of small investment, less space occupation, short treatment period and good treatment effect, but also can reach the magnetic field intensity of ordinary electromagnetic body more than three times, so as to improve the magnetic separation ability. It is a technology with great potential application value in the future. 。
A study on the application technology of superconducting magnets shows that the superconducting high gradient magnetic separation technology can be used for the purification and separation of wastewater from papermaking, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Unlike the traditional superconducting magnetic separation technology, which can only separate magnetic impurities in minerals, coal and kaolin, this technology can separate non-magnetic organic and inorganic pollutants from industrial wastewater by adding modified magnetic seed granular materials in advance, so as to achieve the discharge standard of industrial wastewater.
The technology was developed by a research team led by Li Laifeng, Research Institute of Physical and Chemical Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with Northeast University and Shenyang Water Group Co., Ltd. Water Technology Research and Development Center. The research report was published in the third issue of Science and Technology Bulletin in 2009, entitled "Superconducting magnetic separation and sewage treatment in paper mills". If industrial wastewater does not meet the discharge standards, it will do a lot of harm. However, the chemical and biochemical methods currently used have many problems, such as large investment, high operation cost, long reaction time, large area, low efficiency and high energy consumption. For small sewage treatment enterprises, these problems are more prominent. If the manufacturers invest too much in the establishment of sewage treatment facilities, most of them may take direct or stolen discharge, causing greater harm to the environment. Therefore, it is important and urgent to develop new, efficient and low-cost industrial wastewater treatment technology.
